On more than one occasion, Alice has noted that he simply replaced one addictive behaviour with another when he quit drink and drugs. He plays golf pretty much every day he can get his hands on a club, and hes played in a number of pro-am competitions, with a handicap of two. For those of you who dont know (which included me until I looked it up), that makes him excellent-to-great at playing that there golf. For the last two decades hes hosted an annual celebrity tournament for charity called, funnily enough, the Alice Cooper Celebrity AM Golf Tournament (apparently all the creative names went to songs like I Wanna Be God and Gutter Cat Vs. The Jets). THe word is that if he quit rock n roll tomorrow, hed have a serious shot at turning pro.
