10. Consequence Feat. Kanye West & John Legend - Getting Out The Game
If you're a fan of early Kanye then it's safe to say that you were probably also a fan of Queens rapper Consequence. Not only was Quence the first to sign to Kanye's G.O.O.D Music record label but the two had a long working relationship prior to that. When Quence released his mixtape "Take 'em to the Cleaners" Kanye appeared on several tracks including Getting Out The Game also featuring a then unknown John Legend. Kanye starts off the track by declaring that he's finally ready to settle down and have a real relationship. "So now she's picking dresses from Vera Wang. Scratching out her maiden and here's my name. Now I'm sitting at the bar wit all my guys. They saying "Cheers to you for your future years of pain" This seems oddly prophetic seeing as though he wouldn't get married and become Kanye Kardashian for many years to come.
