20 Universally-Hated Songs That Are Actually Technically Very Good

10. Disturbed - Land Of Confusion

It's very easy to hate Disturbed, over the years they've become almost a parody of themselves with frontman David Draiman usually ripe for a good ribbing thanks to his monkey-noise vocals stylings. It seems that as the years have gone on, it's become incredibly uncool to be a Disturbed fan, and covering Genesis tracks doesn't really help that. That you can guarantee to hear the "Oh-wa-ah-ahh"-filled Down With The Sickness at almost every single rock club you'll ever attend doesn't help their image either. The cover is largely a line by line copy of the original, just with Disturbed's amps and voice, which is potentially where the song pulls so much ire from. Take Draiman out of the mix though and there is something endearing about transforming a pop-prog song into a pop-metal song, and the fact that guitarist Dan Donegan is finally allowed to let rip with a guitar solo is just fantastic.
