2. Sarah Michelle Gellar In Sour Girl - Stone Temple Pilots
Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland reportedly became a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer while in prison, which is how Buffy herself - Sarah Michelle Gellar - wound up in the video for Sour Girl, arguably the band's biggest single. Speaking to Smug Magazine back in 2000, Weiland recounted that he would try to convince other inmates to watch the shows he wanted to watch. "Sunday, it had to be the X-Files. Monday, I had to watch Ally McBeal. Tuesday it was Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It had to be Buffy." So after his release, he went out and got his "Sour Girl" (the song is actually written about an ex-wife). Gellar was also a fan of the band, and happy to do it, but two parties were not: Weiland's then fiancé and Gellar's boyfriend. So a deal was struck - no actual kissing, and both would be on set to watch filming. Awkward.
