Guitar Hero is probably the most fun multi-player game this side of Bishi Bashi (anyone remember that?). Sadly, non-guitarists think of it as the guitar equivalent of shooting blanks from a gun: that theyre pretty much identical actions. Playing Guitar Hero is not the same as playing guitar. You might feel like a rock god and be a bit tired after doing some Dream Theater on Hard mode, but really youre just quite good at computer games. Equally, being good at guitar doesnt make you automatically skilled at Guitar Hero. At a push you might be able to respond to the notes better because youve done some sight-reading, but sadly the chances are it won't help you beat everyone else the first time you play.
