30 Seconds To Mars: Their 10 Greatest Songs To Date

By Alex Antliff /

4. Hurricane

Two versions of this song exist, one featuring and one excluding additional vocals by rapper Kanye West, the former of which is linked here. Though many may criticise his inclusion in a rock song, it adds something different to proceedings, making the song stand out from others, though the video is somewhat bizarre. The acoustic version, featured on the band€™s MTV Unplugged EP, also makes for excellent (and quite serene) listening.

3. Capricorn

The group€™s first ever single remains one of their best. Described by Jared Leto as being about a €˜desire for renewal€™, it fuses a number of different musical styles together across its four minute runtime, resonating throughout.

2. Oblivion

Another tune from the band€™s first album, which is arguably their best release to date, is this, a track that features both great instrumental and vocal parts. Due its lack of release in single format, it goes criminally unnoticed by many, despite its superiority to many of the trio's more popular releases.
