Now, every good Metalhead should adore Priest, how can you not? They're simply staggering, with one of the strongest back catalogues any band has, anywhere! I mean they have released stone cold classic albums such as 'Sad Wings Of Destiny', 'British Steel', 'Screaming For Vengeance', 'Defenders Of The Faith', 'Painkiller' and 'British Steel'. It is from the last of that list, that this track is taken from. Rob Halford is, undisputedly, a Metal God, no two ways about it, BUT the chorus for this song is indefensibly horrid. Strange, as the verses are solid, typical priest fare. "Never straight and narrow I won't keep in time Tend to burn the arrow Out of the line Been inclined to wander Off the beaten track That's where there's thunder And the wind shouts back" Sufficiently cool, aren't they? Then, this happens... "Grinder Looking for meat Grinder Wants you to eat" I'm not sure either, to be honest. I guess they wouldn't be that bad, if they made sense in context of the song, but to these trained eyes and ears, they do not.
