Original Artist €“ George Michael (1987)Released €“ 1997 (Three Dollar Bill, Yall) Limp Bizkit were at the forefront of the Nu-Metal movement of the late 90€™s thanks to the release of their debut album and its accompanying single; a cover of former WHAM front man George Michaels iconic smash hit off his debut solo album of the same name, Faith. Utilizing a mixture of hip hop and heavy metal the likes of which were all the rage at the time, Fred Durst and crew created a mainstream monster hit that mirrored that of the originals success a decade previous. Along with their own signature song Nookie, Limp Bizkit€™s version of Faith propelled them to the top of the mainstream charts and has kept them in the limelight ever since. Although the original line-up faltered in the mid 2000€™s, they have since re-united and with not one but two albums on the horizon, and with Fred Durst attempting a career in films and television they are sure to remain in the spotlight for years to come.
