Cheryl Cole Says Girls Aloud Musical Would Be An Amazing Compliment
Cheryl Cole has revealed that a much-talked about Girls Aloud musical would be "amazing" and "a compliment" to the band.
"That would be amazing... It would be pretty amazing that someone could play those parts in the theatre. That would really be a compliment, I think."The Call My Name singer has just released her third solo album and revealed that she couldn't imagine herself actually singing on stage in the show but Geordie girl does believe her bandmember and friend Kimberley Walsh, who played the lead female in Shrek: The Musical, could strut her stuff on stage;
"That would be funny. I can't imagine myself... Kimberley would be amazing because she's a theatre veteran now."The possibility of a Girls Aloud musical probably hinges on the success of "Viva Forever', the soon to be launched musical about The Spice Girls. That show and has been written by Jennifer Saunders and will debut on the West End later this year. Meanwhile, Girls Aloud celebrate ten years in the music industry this November, with reunion plans said to be "very soon".
