Guns N' Roses: 13 Notorious Incidents You Won't Believe

3. Covering Charles Manson

Look At Your Game, Girl is a hidden track on Guns N' Roses' 1993 covers album The Spaghetti Incident? - and it's not exactly a memorable tune. Without any of the punk elements of the rest of the album, and with a laid back groove to it, Look At Your Game, Girl sounds unlike almost anything else in the Guns N' Roses catalog, with the except perhaps of If The World, released years later. However, the track brought with it a ton of controversy - because it was written and released previously by Charles Manson. As soon as the press got wind GN'R were covering it, all hell broke lose, with the band being derided for supporting a murderer. However, a deal was struck to ensure that royalties from the recording went to relatives of a Manson family victim. It didn't seem to quell the uproar over the song however.
