Memphis, Tennessee has a great musical hall of fame: Elvis Presley, Otis Redding, Johnny Cash, BB King to name a select few. Now they can add the pop and neo-soul sensation Justin Timberlake €“ he has proven his talent with his career to date and now with The 20/20 Experience, he is soaring. It€™s been a long six and a half years since we last heard the vocal talents of Justin Timberlake on FutureSex/LoveSounds. After that critically acclaimed release - JT departed from the music scene to pursue acting and other business ventures. Over the years I found myself asking €˜when is he going to come back to music?€™ I saw Timberlake in concert in 2007 when he toured the globe with FutureSex/LoveSounds, and to this day even with the countless music gigs I€™ve been to, I maintain that this concert (along with Prince€™s Welcome 2 Australia tour) was one of the best I have ever experienced. The show was pure entertainment, sophisticated and had outstandingly choreographed sets. Don€™t forget JT has been in this music game since the Mickey Mouse Club days €“ while some of his fellow mouseketeers have burnt out (former flame Britney Spears) Timberlake continues to wow us. If you live in the US and want a taste of Timbo live in concert you€™re in luck. You can see him in €œLegends Of The Summer Tour€ with Jay-Z. You€™d better hurry up and cop those tickets though, according to XXL Mag;
€œLegends of the Summer€ is outselling Hov and Kanye€™s tour by a six-to-one ratio through all ticket purchasing sources.
If you judge the success or potential purchase of an album on sales €“ then throw The 20/20 Experience in your cart. The album was predicted by Billboard to sell 500,000 copies in it€™s first week €“ the actual sales figures have indicated that it was a staggering 968,000. The 20/20 Experience is one of the best albums of 2013 irrespective of genre. The long wait was worth it. Why you ask? Well, here goes...
