Crazy Nights continued a downward trend that would bottom out with the decades next and final release, 89s Hot In The Shade. Paul Stanley states in Kisstory that he was particularly annoyed with Gene at this point for putting the band well behind his outside interests: Hollywood and producing/managing for other artists. No No No is primarily a Bruce Kulick, Eric Carr collaboration with Simmons adding lyrics and vocals. Featuring some stellar fret work by Kulick the song is perhaps the heaviest on an album that is decidedly lightweight. A fun ride that showcases the lesser egos of Kiss at the time.
