Album: Dangerous "Remember the Time" came around when Michael Jackson was frequently working with producer Teddy Riley in the Dangerous era. Another love song but one that came with a different feel from the tracks previously mentioned. It had a swing to it, while being known as a "pop" number, the composition was fantastic. The opening riff which is accompanied by MJ's elegant "Do You Remember"" is a tough one to dislike. As well as a hilarious music video, set in Ancient Egypt with appearances from comedian Eddie Murphy and basketball legend Magic Johnson, "Remember the Time" was a heartfelt, 90's dance infused track, which left us with satisfaction and bliss.
11. The Way You Make Me Feel
Album: Bad With a growl and that iconic first line of "hey pretty baby with the high heels on", "The Way You Make Me Feel" recorded when Michael Jackson was really at his peak, is still a timeless classic and one of his best ever songs. Another one of MJ's love songs, "The Way You Make Me Feel" just had something about it that you could not stop listening to. Some truly beautiful harmonies, running at a fast pace, as we listen to the fusion of pop, soul and R&B, this was seriously Michael Jackson at the top of his game. Released for his very successful Bad album, "The Way You Make Me Feel" was the second single to come from it and stayed up in the charts for a long time to come. Footage of him rehearsing it for the then upcoming This Is It tour sounded sublime and remains a brilliantly written and produced song.
