Much like the djentlemen of TesseracT, the skill and prowess that The Safety Fire posses is astonishing, something that would most likely confuse the public, but musicians can only listen in awe. Once again opting for soaring melodic vocals over a "metal" sound (not anything as heavy as you would associate with the word) the second release from the London Progressive unit, shows an ever developing sound that follows on from the grasping blueprint laid out by the debut album. Songs like "Glass Crush" and "Red Hatchet" showcase a fine display of what the band can really do if you give them your listening time. Taking the listener from souring heights to heavy depths, it is certainly a sound for the dynamic music taste. Once again, a tragedy that this band will probably never get a nomination in their career due to the associations of their genre.
