Not to be confused with the Three Days Grace debut single 'I Hate Everything About You' (which, in itself, could be featured on this list), Ugly Kid Joe were perhaps most fondly remembered for their album 'America's Most Wanted' which featured this prominent track. The song first came to public consciousness when featured in the motion picture 'Wayne's World' and snowballed from there. The recording of the video had to be halted when officials from the FAA arrived and complained that nude sex dolls (filled with helium) were causing a distraction to pilots taking off from a local strip. Fair point. It's slightly ironic that Joe received more airplay and attention for the song in the UK than in the US, with it going to #3 in the UK charts, even if most people didn't get the Saturday Night Live voice over at the beginning of the studio version. In their native country the band became better known for their cover of Harry Chapin's 'Cat's in the Cradle' which is also neither heartwarming nor romantic. The acoustic version on their 2013 album 'Stairway to Hell' is an effort worth a notable mention. Certainly a bad idea to get down on bended-knee during this song.
