Artist: Led Zeppelin Album: In through the Out Door (Swan Song) I know, Robert Plant wrote this song about his son who died. But you can write tributes to fallen loved ones that arent cheesy. Maybe. Im actually not sure. Either way, this song gets to me. The maudlin tempo, cheesy lyrics, and, well, the title, should be enough. But theres also the horrible synthesizer throughout; my friends and I used to play this song on my keyboard in junior high with fake violins as a joke. Even other softer songs by the group, like The Battle of Evermore, still have an edge to them this song lacks. And for the record, Jimmy Page agrees with me.
