The collaborative track was originally recorded for Coldplay's fifth studio album Mylox Xyloto that was released last year but they had never performed the song live before last night. You can watch the performance below; 21221225635 by YardieGoals It began with Rihanna performing the hit single 'We Found Love' along with several dancers, shouting 'Make some noise for Whitney!' during her rendition in a tribute to the late Whitney Houston who died the night before. The performance then segued into the 'Princess of China' duet when Chris Martin of Coldplay came on stage, and which then turned into 'Paradise' performed by the full band. There have been some rumours that Coldplay and Rihanna will once collaborate at the forthcoming Brit Awards, taking place from February 21st at the o2 Arena in London.
