The A-Z Of 2013's Breakout Acts

Imagine Dragons initially began to make waves in the music industry towards the latter end of 2012, garnering significant airplay and acclaim for 'Radioactive', which has experienced tremendous longevity and continued to be a radio and chart fixture throughout 2013, picking up a handful of award nominations along the way. Having topped the chart's year-end rock rankings for 2013, the four-piece were named the breakthrough band of 2013 by Billboard in their native America. Given their sell-out tour and the fact that Radioactive was the years most Spotifyed (that needs to be an actual word) song, it's easy to see why, though the group have proved themselves as being far from a one-hit wonder with other successes, such as 'Its Time' and 'Demons', which went to #15 and #6 in the States respectively. The album containing said songs, 'Night Visions', went to #2 in both the US and the UK, showing that perhaps the public are ready to embrace alternative rock en masse once again.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWRsgZuwf_8
