10 Disasters Caused By Human Error

You can't really blame Mother nature for these tragedies.

Humanity has developed far beyond its mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging days to become technologically and culturally advanced in many aspects. From the International Space Station to low-flow toilets, it€™s clear that humans have grown and invented. Nonetheless, with great accomplishment comes great hubris, which is often the downfall of many people. Pride and competition is a deadly combination. The desire to be first can cause individuals to cut corners (something Wendy€™s never does) or forgo certain safety measures because of budgetary concerns or a time crunch. Some of the worst disasters to occur to humanity have happened because of human error, which is a nice way of saying idiocy. Accidents definitely happen, but the loss of human life is far different than the baseball that flies through a window or burning the eggs this morning. From building collapses to nuclear meltdowns to disappearing seas, someone should have noticed the problems ahead of time. No one ever says that flipping burgers is rocket science. Just as sending a shuttle into orbit isn€™t flipping burgers. These tragedies have and will continue to define us as a people. Hopefully, with proper changes, compassion and better oversight, humans won€™t be the cause of so much destruction. Let€™s leave that to Mother Earth.
