Tory MP Grant Shapps has been accused of editing his own Wikipedia page an act known as sock-puppetry which is not permitted on Wikipedia. It also turns out that the pages of senior political figures, such as Philip Hammond and foreign secretary Justine Greening have also been edited, to include negative changes. Grant Shapps Wikipedia page has been changed to take out any embarrassing details about his alter ego Michael green, which he supposedly uses for his second job as a business man.
