She was 32 at the time and working for more niche publications- Playboy was, oddly, some of her most mainstream work. Page went on to become the "Queen of Pinups" and one of the most iconic models of the 20th century. She was a muse for multiple famous photographers, including the controversial Irving Klaw, and she continues to influence fashion and designers today.
