9. Going To The Cinema Is Like Wading Through A Sea Of Judgement
You know there's nothing wrong with going to the cinema alone; you do it frequently because it's cheaper than having to buy your S.O a ticket too, and you can get whatever popcorn you want without having that standard 'I-want-sweet, oh-but-I-want-salted' argument. You can arrive when you want and not have to worry about meeting anyone at a particular time, you can sit wherever you want, and you can enjoy the film in peace. But going up to the counter and asking for one ticket to Fast and Furious 7 and a small popcorn inevitably means you looking like the stereotypical weirdo. No one understands that going to the cinema by yourself is fine; you're not a paedophile or weird cinema serial killer. You just don't want to babysit other people in the process. You find yourself defiantly looking the server in the eye, and proudly choosing your seat - ALONE.
