A cat can look like it is happy, begging for you to play with it. Then POW, all of a sudden they have unleashed their ferocious claws and are swiping at you with a level of aggression which you could not have expected. Theyll inevitably draw blood in an unprovoked attack, and youll see these battle scars on your friends, who will probably just laugh it off as being a cute anecdote about their beloved pet. To those who dont adore cats this is simply strange. If a human were to walk up to you, ask you to feel how soft their fluffy new jumper is, and then slap you or push you away when you went to complete their unconventional request, you would rightly be confused. Why then, when an animal does it, do people find it to be an endearing or cute quality? You can never predict what animals will do thats why entertainers so often refuse to work with them but a cat is one of the few domesticated animals who will look like they want to be played with, only to viciously turn on the human and embark on a completely unprovoked attack which is guaranteed to hurt the person more than it will hurt the supposedly cute, innocent, little pet.
