As a top international spy (don't worry, we won't tell anyone), you are going to need some top of the range spying equipment to aid you in your quest for total national security. You've got the licence to kill, you've got the martini, you've got the tux, now all that's missing is the tech.

You can't very well go after the crème de la crème of the criminal underworld armed only with your wits and a very smart dinner jacket, now can you?

Well, before your next mission (and it's a doozy), it would be prudent to get yourself tooled up so that you're ready for whatever situation is thrown at you. You don't want to find yourself in a tricky spot with a Russian dictator, only to realize you've left your exploding toothpaste at home, that would just be embarrassing.

Luckily, we have here, a range of gadgets to ensure that you're able to listen in on any conversation, conquer any terrain, thwart any attacker, and, most importantly of all, catch those bad guys. Just think of us as your own personal Q.

With everything from sneaky listening devices to powerful truth serums, gathering intelligence has never been so high tech.

10. The Shrub Rover

The Terrestrial Shrub Rover will enable you to nose in on any evil conversations that are taking place in beautifully tended formal gardens, so that's handy.

This solar-powered vehicle is inconspicuously disguised as a bit of common topiary, meaning that you can simply park it in a decorative border and listen in from the comfort of your shrub.

According to its creator, artist Justin Shull, the shrub-mobile will be most useful for inconspicuous social exploration (otherwise known as eavesdropping) and was inspired by the human race's latest efforts in space exploration.

Shull says: “In the spirit of NASA and its forthcoming 2020 lunar expeditions in preparation for colonizing the moon, the Terrestrial Shrub Rover presents the opportunity to explore terrestrial and social environments back on Earth from within a manned, foliage bedecked, solar electric powered rover.”

We'd like to think he was being ironic, but he is an artist, so perhaps not.
