10. Putting Human Children On Leashes Is Frowned Upon By Society

This is not a recommended way to make friends when you move into a new neighborhood. People have a tendency to get pretty uppity when they see a child attached to a leash. Which is a real shame, because it makes them so much easier to control. The closest thing to a leash society has accepted are those backpacks shaped like animals with the little tails sticking out of them that parents can hold onto. 

It's pretty much a leash, but it's also a backpack, so I guess that makes it okay. But move it from their shoulders to their fragile little necks and all of a sudden everyone's a critic. 

Dogs are actually required to be on leashes in certain areas, and although watching the little bundle of energy run free is a wonderful sight, sometimes it's nice to have the control to chill them out.
