As well as her debilitating mysophobia, Diaz also claims to suffer from attention deficit hyperactvity disorder (ADHD), which reduces the sufferer€™s ability to focus on one task for any prolonged period of time.

Cameron cites the condition as the reason she has no interest in directing films. €œ"I would never be able to spend two years making a movie or even one year€, she conceded. €œI would just, I'd be someplace else within a few short moments."

Whether her condition is medically verified or mere media bluster is unclear, but whatever the case she does not feel her anxieties have negatively affected her career. €œActing is the perfect amount of involvement for me,€ she remarked contentedly.
