10 Things You Didn't Know About Disney's The Haunted Mansion

9. Pet Cemetery

Like the Ramones, you may not want to be buried in a pet sematary, but at the Haunted Mansion you can at least visit one. To the side of the attraction is a graveyard full of tombs dedicated to a number of dearly departed pets. These include Roddy the dog, 'our friend until the end'; Lilac the skunk, 'long on curiosity...short on scents'; and Long Legged Jeb, who 'got tangled up in his very own web'. It's all in keeping with the spooky-but-silly nature of the ride, and if you ask a cast member nicely enough, you will actually be able to take a tour of the cemetery and get a good close-up look at the tombstones for yourself.
