Seriously. During an appearance on Late Night With Conan O'Brien back in 2005, Aniston told shocked viewers that she once found herself in a serious situation with one of the most beloved fictional characters on the planet: Santa. Recalling the story to Conan, Aniston said:
"Santa slapped me. There was a homeless guy wearing a Santa hat. I was walking down Broadway after a dance class and I was with my girlfriend. I basically saw this guy standing in the middle of the street and I just happened to be passing him right at the time that he went 'BEEEH!' And backhanded me. Really hard. I was stunned. I was like, what the hell are you doing? And nobody stopped! I dont what youd expect people to do, like go beat up the homeless Santa? Very strange. Its fun growing up in New York."
Well, not a whole lot of people can say they've been slapped by Santa. Shame it had to be Jennifer, but hey - at least now she'll always have this incident in her inventory as an "amusing anecdote" to use on late night chat shows, right?
