9. She Passed On Saturday Night Live To Be In Friends
It's not at all surprising that Jennifer Aniston was once offered a gig on Saturday Night Live. After all, she has a real talent for comedy and her timing is impeccable - you can certainly imagine her working wonders on the show as a member of the permanent cast. And indeed, she was offered a spot on SNL by none other than Lorne Michaels prior to catching her big break with NBC's Friends - an offer she turned down because she felt like the show was something akin to "a boy's club," which certainly isn't the case nowadays, given all the female talent. But it's a good thing she turned down said offer, otherwise she wouldn't have ended up in one of the most beloved sitcoms of all-time as its arguably most beloved character. A far more lucrative deal than anything Lorne Michaels could have given her, then, for sure.
