Neil and husband David are both set to appear on American Horror Story this year, but it almost happened a long time ago. They were asked to be on the show together way back during the first season, and turned down the roles. Why would they do such a thing? Well, they had just finished filming A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas where their characters hate each other. Their role in AHS would be similar, and Neil didnt want that to be a defining part of how audiences saw their relationship. David meanwhile was all for the idea, which may be what caused him to accept the role this time around.
