8. Express Pass
Express Pass is an additional ticket that you can purchase which allows you to bypass the queues of some of Universal's more popular attractions, including Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, Jurassic Park River Adventure and The Incredible Hulk Coaster.
Not all the rides at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure participate in the Express Pass. Some of the more notable absences are Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and Hogwarts Express.
There are two different versions of the pass.
The Universal Ultimate Express Pass grants unlimited entry into the participating rides. Prices for the Unlimited Pass start at around $89.99 for you to use at both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.
The Universal Express Pass is more restrictive and allows quick entry on to each participating ride only once. Prices start at $39.99 for use both parks.
Prices of the Express Passes are dependent on the time of year you visit and are limited in number, so you may wish to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
