3. There Is So Much Water

Splash Mountain uses an enormous amount of water.

About 956,000 gallons of water make up the ride at the Magic Kingdom! There's even a giant reservoir behind Splash Mountain to hold all the extra water needed.

You are almost guaranteed to get wet when riding the attraction. In fact you don't have to be riding the attraction to get wet.

If you stand on the bridge and watch the riders racing down into the Briar Patch every couple now and then you will be sprayed. This water isn't coming from a passing boat, Disney installed extra sprayers to soak bystanders.
