10. Boy Puppies Let Girls Win
Let's start with this one because, yay, puppies. According to animal behaviourists, puppy love is real.
Studies have shown that when male and female puppies play together, the males will "soften" their play and even let the females beat them up a bit.
The purpose of this behaviour seems to be to prolong play and spend more time with the girls. When pitted against other males, this playful streak disappears and the puppies show no mercy (although a puppy in "no mercy" mode is still pretty adorable). They don't just take it a bit easy either. Male puppies will quite often drop to the ground like a footballer taking a dive at even the slightest boop.
It's a bit weird, as most males of a species (humans included) will go out of their way to prove just how big and tough they are, purposefully showing weakness seems to fly in the face of evolutionary theory.
Oh, and just incase that wasn't cute enough for you, this self-handicapping is also often accompanied by lots of bowing
