7. John Cassisi €“ Construction Worker

13 year old John Cassisi was originally chosen to play the lead mobster in Bugsy Malone after director Alan Parker visited his school asking, "who's the naughtiest boy in class?" He was quickly singled out by his classmates and whisked away for filming.

His career was reduced to the small screen, where he appeared in the 1970s TV shows Barney Miller and Fish, before completely abandoning the acting profession.

Cassisi followed his gangster persona€™s roots back to New York City, where he is now married with kids, working in construction.
