Tights: they've featured in theatre, they've been worn during dance, and even kings have donned the slinky leg wear over the years. The wearing of tights has a history going back several centuries, when they were worn by men; but now tights are a predominantly female choice of clothing, and are a necessary item of attire that you will find in most women's drawers. Great things about tights: they work with pretty much every outfit which involves a dress or a skirt or shorts. They're an easy cover up for bruises or cuts if you're ashamed of that kind of thing. You can get tights for spring, summer, autumn or winter, so they're a great item of clothing to own all year round. As well as being made in silk, nylon and cotton, tights are now made in Lycra, making them a great option for sports wear. And most of the time, you can buy tights in literally any women's clothing shops, plus supermarkets, department stores and even your local pharmacy. But sometimes, despite our love for wearing tights, we can get a bit caught up in a rage when our tights agenda doesn't quite go to plan. So without further ado, here are eleven times you absolutely hated your tights, and couldn't get them off fast enough.
