Speaking of the 90's, Marvel Comics has a different, simple take on the matter. Well, sort of. It involves Hitler acquiring the means to time travel, seeking to use it to take out Nick Fury. Oh, and some powered armor-style mech suits. Deadpool gets involved, too, as he watches over Dum Dum, and then Cable time travels back to help out. Okay, not so simple, and it doesn't get any easier from there. That's comic books for you. Things go south, and after vowing to return from the grave as others such as Captain America have... well, Fury, Cable, and Deadpool vow to see that he doesn't. Naturally, Deadpool does so with gusto. After all, he now gets to brag to Cap about it!
