When someone tells you they are a photographer, do you automatically think of weddings? Babies? Family portraits or events? Well no more! When I'm not blogging, I'm photographing and wanted to share some of the most popular and weirdest genres I have encountered in the past five years. Sure the genres may have been around for much longer than just five years, but it is only recently that they have come into popular culture and really taken off as something the public want to see and indulge into. This is the age of low income and high materialism, if we want something, we get it, no matter how useless it may be, and if we cant get it then we usually look for another way around it - as far as making our own. These days you can get costumes and accessories to look like an animal, a perfect character costume, we can even get pretend ancient artefacts from far away foreign lands, and what better way to show off our materialistic ways than with our vanity? See the next pages to see how many people have turned their fantasy into realities in photograph keepsakes.
