Crime: Attempted murder When Jay Z was twelve, he shot his brother in the shoulder, but he was never charged for that despite him being high at the time. In 1999, he stabbed a music produced in the stomach outside a nightclub.
He pleaded guilty to assault as opposed to murder and was given three years probation.
