Often working part time hours in the hopes of minimising student debt, their head is permanently in a dense text, a permanent look of stress, panic and confusion as they read. Breaks are spent frantically working on an essay, its a shame their managers dont grasp that sometimes people are aiming for more than their job. Theyll spend hours begging and pleading with HR for a day off or a shift change for an exam thats very important. Its almost as if they dont want to work in a call centre for the rest of their lives. Theyll often stay there though, post-graduation, as they attempt to clear debt and find anything else to do with their degree in English Literature.
