12. Youve Spent A Lot Of Time Walking By The Roadside
If you were ever to hitchhike or find yourself homeless, youd probably be more adept at it than the majority of people in the UK. Public transport in MK seems to end right before its time for you to either go out, or come home. And so, on many a dusky twilight, youve found yourself and your friends walking alongside the grid system roads of the town, looking hopelessly for a pedestrian path that never seems to materialise. Armed with a carrier bag of booze and your headphones, youve wandered from one side of the town to the other while cars and lorries whizzed past you at 70mph. And not once did anyone stop to offer you, or any of the other walking MK locals, a lift into the city. Its ok; your legs are stronger than most peoples from all that roadside walking.
