8. People Call Us Out For Not Being "Minnesota Nice" Enough
Yeah this old chestnut. Somehow we got a reputation for being a weirdly welcoming region. When we dont live up to these expectations, we get called out. Surely this is no fault of our own, as few around here would be proud enough to spark the Minnesota Nice rumor. Whos responsible for this? Besides, Minnesotans/Minneapolitans are probably less concerned with being genuinely nice than not coming off mean. Coming off mean would make us uncomfortable.
