Frodo and the gang are on their quest to get the ring to Mordor. Simple, right? Wrong. For you, the twenty-something, you're waking up to the fact that life is a little harder than you thought. You're trying to get along just fine in your mediocre day-to-day life, but you've moved out from your parentshouse and it's actually working out way more expensive than you thought. The orcs in LOTR are suddenly realised in real life as your gas bill, your rent, your electricity bill, your council tax and your grocery spendings. You keep fighting them off by brandishing your small financial sword, and but they just keep coming back to bite you in the ass. It is one never-ending fight to win the money battle.
