Whether your compass was wrong, the map got ruined by the elements or you just made a mistake, there was probably a time when you got completely and utterly lost. These things happen, and despite half of your group crying and the other half accepting death, you managed to find your way back on track and you're proud of that. It was definitely the compass' fault.
