15 Problems Only People With Piercings Will Understand

Making the decision to get a major piercing is a big one. Not only is there the discomfort that comes with getting it done, but there's also the problems that can appear afterwards - and not just the obvious ones.

The saying used to go "If it dangles, it can be pierced", but today even that isn't true. You can now stick a piece of metal through pretty much anywhere on your body. And, as most fans of this form of body-art will tell you, it's very addictive.

So much so that you may eventually find yourself running out of body space for new additions. Which leads to the question of whether or not to move into the more delicate areas, places where the majority of people wouldn't ever consider ramming a massive needle into.

Today, it's more socially acceptable than ever to have piercings in areas other than your ears. What was once considered a very niche culture can now be seen proudly displayed by people of all ages, from teenagers to senior citizens.

But despite all the issues that arise from having piercings, if you asked the vast majority of people who have had them done whether they feel any regret, the answer will be no - in fact they want more. And that's despite all the issues that come with getting the piercing in the first place.
