The closer you get to the big day, the worse the traffic gets. It basically starts at the beginning of December, or whenever your local colleges let out for the semester. Then you've got people taking extra time off work so they can drive to the mall and sign up with the bargain zombie hordes, making city streets a living, moving version of tetris and parking lots even worse. Holiday gridlock, just what you need when you're already stressed out looking for the "perfect" gift for a loved on. Is visiting your relatives even worth this? Plus, you can blame it all on the bargain zombies, well most of it anyway.
