We don't always drink tea; we love a fine ale too. Handily, then, Yorkshire is the undisputed home of the brewery with West Yorkshire alone boasting more breweries than London despite a population of two million people to London's six. Rather confusingly for visitors, however, is the very Yorkshire way in which we name so many of these beverages after our beloved county. In any decent pub you'll find Yorkshire Pride, Yorkshire Stingo, Yorkshire Sparkle, Yorkshire Rat, Yorkshire Moors and the good old Yorkshire Terrier.
