Those little white half moons at the bottoms of your nails are called your Lunula.

They get their name from their crescent shape as “Lun” is the Latin root for moon. It is actually a kind of second fingernail under the first and is extremely delicate. Any damage to the Lunula will cause the nail to be deformed for life, so look after your Lunula kids.

The Dimples of Venus, or just "back dimples" have long been considered an attractive feature, hence being named after the Roman goddess of beauty.

There are lots of rumours flying around that people with back dimples will have better sex and orgasms which is, by and large, a load of nonsense. Bad news if you want them, however, as whilst lower body fat and better muscle definition might make them more likely to appear, they're thought to be genetic.
