Not to drop him in it, but when he's out and about on his own it's a natural instinct to check out the market. He'll do it to the point where he doesn't even realise he's doing it and might even land himself in trouble if he forgets you're there with him. Try not to give him a hard time about it; it doesn't mean he wants to do anything about it, it's just a hangover from when he was a caveman on the prowl.
