Being asked by a customer to be pointed in the right direction to Vogue magazine is easy: you've already spotted it because you're going to 'borrow' one on your lunch break and read it. But being asked for Objeckt International, Gurgle, or The Green Parent is just a recipe for disaster. Why do you do? The professional thing, which would be to go and scour the millions of magazines on offer and hope to find the obscure one in question (no doubt lurking at the back somewhere)? Or the unprofessional thing: yell across the store to your friend and hope they know where the hell this magazine is. You swear customers come in just to royally screw up your day.
