Rowling recently revealed on her interactive website for fans, Pottermore, that Platform 9 3/4, for the Hogwarts Express, is not the only one of its kind at Kings Cross Station. For example, Platform 7 ½ is the platform for an Orient Express-type journey to wizard-only villages in continental Europe forget the Hogwarts Express, sign us up for that one! Also, Rowling mused, there might be special one-off platforms to provide transportation for large wizarding events like Celestina Warbeck concerts. This begs the question, of course, if Platform 9 ¾ isnt unique, then just how many wizard-trains are there around the world, waiting to be accessed only by running through a solid brick wall? We would encourage readers not to test this theory next time they go out of town, but what the hell were curious.
